Why you should not play with Frisbees in the snow
This workshop provides an opportunity to see first-hand the fabrication method for a frisbee (injection moulding) and the temperature effect on the performance of plastics in our industrial-scale processing plant.
We will then rise to the challenge of demonstrating polymer processing in a lecture room!
The workshop includes hands-on demonstrations of real-world processing, such as making a plastic bag from a milk bottle and hand moulding a low melting point polymer.
