Overview

The Analytical Chemistry MSc provides a comprehensive training in analytical chemistry and its implementation in the industrial laboratory. The Department has a range of modern analytical instruments for use by students during the practical parts of the course, which include regular laboratory classes.

The MSc programmes in Chemistry at Loughborough are some of the few programmes in the UK that receive national recognition and funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

Who should apply for MSc Analytical Chemistry?

  • graduates in chemistry or a closely related discipline who wish to specialise in analytical science.
  • graduates with no previous experience of analytical chemistry who require a conversion route
  • graduates with some training at undergraduate level who require advanced study
